What you’ll do every day
Project Management – This role will have a high degree of managing multiple projects. In this role, you’ll work internally and with clients to plan engagements, manage timelines, deliverables and provide regular client reporting. You’ll communicate any potential issues and risks internally.
Continuous Improvement – You are never happy with the status quo. You’ll strive to make our processes industry standard and that will keep up with the fast pace and ever changing privacy laws. You will need to develop and maintain technical expertise to perform tasks and support clients.
Privacy Compliance & Building Privacy Programs– Using your understanding of current regulations like global privacy laws GDPR, PIPEDA and US privacy laws, CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA and marketing privacy laws CAN-SPAM, TCPA plus industry best practices, you’ll work on our client projects to help create sustainable privacy programs.
On client engagements – You will assist with data inventory/data mapping exercises for clients. This includes the creation & maintenance of records of processing activities ROPAs. You may also assist with vendor due diligence and privacy impact assessments (PIA), reviewing the PIAs and ROPAs for completeness and accuracy. You’ll also help develop privacy trainings and presentations. Create and identify privacy program metrics and document client performance.
Software Tools Expert – You are excited about becoming an expert in privacy technology tools, including OneTrust. You’ll help design develop, set up OneTrust environments for clients in multiple modules (assessments, data mapping, individual rights, consent management, cookies, third party vendors, etc). You will also keep up with the software changes and apply them on client engagements. You will use the tools to create client reporting.
Policies and Procedures – Creating and enhancing governance documentation around information security, and privacy practices to ensure alignment to international, federal, state, and industry standards.
Client Support –You believe in building long lasting trust-based relationships. You will be providing on-going support to our clients through interaction, problem resolution, and recommendations.

You’re a good candidate if you possess these qualifications
- 2-4 years + of business experience in a role involving process documentation or management, privacy, or compliance
- 1+ year of privacy experience
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Familiarity with various regulatory and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, NIST, ISO, HIPAA, GLBA, SOC 2, etc.).
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using privacy technology tools
- Experience with data inventories or data flows, privacy impact assessments, or privacy compliance documents
- Privacy certifications such as CIPP, CIPM or commitment to complete within the first year
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
